Application Analyst

Purpose Statement : Application Analysts provide Customer Service Excellence by helping customers resolve issues in a timely manner while also driving to root cause to prevent recurrence, providing daily "care and feeding" for core applications to ensure availability and performance, providing conceptual design expertise to solutions, owning the application life cycle (patching, upgrades, security updates, etc.), and managing relationships with key third party software suppliers.

Job Responsibilities :

• Report to IT Solution Manager
• Support MES / ERP application & project implementation.
• Work with various divisions / departments to collect Business Requirement and Conduct Business Analysis workshops
• Work closely with IT Solution Manager to define project deliverables, schedules & help to identify / levarage resources in order to meet project objectives.
• Provide BA report (consists of all current processes & to-be model), Gaps Analysis, Decision Document, Business Requirement Documentation (BRD), Test procedure (Doc 28).
• Provide solution walk-through and conduct Conference Room Pilot Session.
• Provide sound system solution impact / risk assessment in related to change request in highly integrated application environment.
• Provide consultation to end-users in the area of automated systems.
• Communicate project status and issues to the IT Solution Manager to ensure timely resolution and achievement of project milestones.
• Acts as liaison between IT Division and end-users to resolve procedural questions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Provide knowledge of the data relationships, business requirements and metadata attributed to all enterprise reporting repositories in assigned areas.
