Oracle Developer

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle PL / SQL Developer to join our cross-functional IT team. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of Oracle database solutions that power critical business applications. Senior Data Engineer (Oracle PL / SQL) , you will : Architect, design, and implement scalable Oracle database solutions. Ensure systems are robust, high-performing, and aligned with business needs. Advanced PL / SQL Development Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL / SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Work with advanced features such as bulk collections, dynamic SQL, autonomous transactions, analytical functions, materialized views, and query re-writes. Performance Tuning & Optimization Act as the subject matter expert in query optimization for large-scale systems. Use tools like AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, Execution Plans, and Explain Plan to resolve performance issues. Create and enforce data modelling standards (tables, indexes, views, constraints). Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with governance policies. Data Integration (ETL) Design and implement sophisticated ETL and data migration processes. Work with data warehouse concepts and tools like Talend. Scripting & Automation Develop UNIX shell scripts to automate processes and scheduling tasks. Solution Delivery & Project Management Collaborate in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence. Troubleshooting & Production Support Provide advanced, third-level support for critical production database issues. Guide junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and best practices. Share knowledge and build a strong database development culture. Strategic Planning & Innovation Stay updated with the latest Oracle and database technologies. Propose innovative solutions to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management Consider business and regulatory risks in all deliverables. Work with IT risk, security, legal, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance. What We’re Looking For 10+ years’ experience in Oracle PL / SQL and application DBA work. Hands-on experience with Oracle ADB / RDBMS (19c / 12c / 11g / 10g). Strong background in

SQL / PLSQL performance tuning

and optimization. Expertise in

ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Modelling . Skilled in

UNIX shell scripting

for automation. 3+ years working in Agile environments (Jira & Confluence). Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to thrive under pressure. Leadership qualities – integrity, accountability, and mentoring ability. Seniority level
