Interior Designer (Junior / Intermediate Level)

NR Design Group is an award-winning architecture, interior design, and design-build firm with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and institutional projects across Malaysia.

We are looking for Interior Designers with 2 – 8 years of experience to join our growing design team.

You will be involved in concept development, design presentations, and project coordination , working closely with seniors and the principal architect, Dato Ar Nafisah Radin to bring creative ideas into reality.

This role offers hands‑on exposure to both design development and project execution , providing an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a collaborative team.

Job Responsibilities

Concept development, mood boards, 3D perspectives and design presentations .

Lead and manage project execution , ensuring quality design integrity.

Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers .

Oversee technical drawings, material selection, and site coordination .

Propose design direction and ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

Collaborate with architects on architectural project drawings and coordination.

Handle client meetings and presentations .

Salary listed is indicative. Higher remuneration is available based on experience and expertise.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Diploma in Interior Design or related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.

Strong design flair with a keen eye for detail.

Required skill(s) : AutoCAD, SketchUp

Proficiency in CooHom / AiHouse is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior detailing.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
