Job Description
- Lead Hardware Development : Drive the full hardware lifecycle, including circuit schematic design and PCB layout development, specifically for highly reliable industrial motherboards utilizing Intel x86, AMD, and ARM architectures.
- Technical Ownership : Manage the technical development of motherboard projects in-house, ensuring design integrity, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Testing and Validation : Plan and execute comprehensive electrical testing on new products, troubleshoot complex hardware issues, and develop detailed test specifications and scripts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and the Contract Manufacturer (CM).
- Mentorship and Process Improvement : Act as a mentor and technical guide for junior Electrical Engineers and PCB Layout Designers . Continuously review and improve our established engineering methods for hardware development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with the Supply Chain team and Contract Manufacturers to manage prototype builds. Work with Product Management and other teams to evaluate new circuitry, technologies, and product opportunities.
- Documentation and Quality : Establish and maintain robust engineering documentation, including block diagrams, BOMs (Bills of Materials), checklists, test plans, and manuals . Champion quality initiatives to ensure superior product performance.
The Successful Applicant
Education : A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering .Experience : 8+ years of professional experience in designing electrical circuits, with a preference for experience in high-speed digital design within the Intel x86 or ARM processor space.Technical Skills : Proven expertise in PCB layout and schematic design for complex, highly reliable industrial applications.Core Competencies : Exceptional attention to detail , a relentless focus on quality , strong organizational skills, and superior analytical and problem-solving abilities .Communication : Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for collaborating with local and international teams.What\'s on Offer
