We will expand our activities to Sendayan Tech Valley, Kuala Melayu, Malaysia, where we will start up a new Aircraft Engine Service Center.

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Safety Officer to lead regulatory and safety oversight at its new Malaysia facility. This role is critical to ensuring full compliance with both local and international aviation maintenance regulations, including CAAM Part 145, EASA, UK CAA, and FAA Part 145 approvals.
The successful candidate will work closely with the UK-based Group Safety and Compliance Manager and will be instrumental in embedding Aircamo’s safety culture, managing regulatory interfaces, and driving continuous improvement in compliance standards across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance and Safety Management System at the Malaysia facility.
- Perform Safety Investigations
- Perform audits to ensure full compliance with :
- Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) Part 145
- European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145
- UK CAA Part 145
- FAA Part 145
- Manage internal audit programs and prepare for external audits by regulatory authorities and customers.
- Assist in the coordination of the application and approval process for individual personal maintenance authorizations. Ensure that all personnel have the necessary qualifications and licenses to perform their job duties safely.
- Maintain accurate records of personnel qualifications, licenses, and authorizations. Keep a detailed database of renewal dates and provide timely reminders for personnel and management.
- Maintain and oversee regulatory documentation, manuals, and compliance records.
- Monitor regulatory developments and co‑ordinate timely updates to procedures and practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective / preventive actions following safety occurrences.
- Provide expert guidance and training to operational teams on compliance and safety matters.
- Act as the local point of contact for regulatory bodies and customers regarding compliance issues.
- Collaborate with the UK Safety & Compliance team to ensure global alignment of standards and practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Extensive experience in aviation compliance and safety, ideally within a Part 145 maintenance environment.In-depth knowledge of CAAM, EASA, UK CAA, and FAA regulations.Proven track record of managing audits, regulatory approvals, and safety systems.Leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Experience working in international or multi‑regulatory environments.Relevant qualifications in aviation safety, compliance, or quality assurance.Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive change.High level of integrity and professionalism.Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.What We Offer
