Overview
GOLDCOIN STARHILL SDN BHD – Kapar, Selangor
Responsibilities
- Ø Troubleshooting, repairs, and improvements of dormitory units and facilities (e.g., electrical outlets, switches, wiring, fans, water leaks).
- Ø Respond to breakdowns and propose technical solutions or rectification methods.
- Ø Carry out preventive maintenance schedules as planned by the Dormitory Manager.
- Ø Conduct regular walk-arounds to ensure dormitory amenities (fans, washing machines, water pipes, fire-fighting equipment, etc.) are in good working condition.
- Ø Maintain facilities such as genset, lift, CCTV, STP, MSB, turnstile, fire-fighting system, face recognition, and card access systems in compliance with DOSH, JKKP, DOE and BOMBA requirements.
- Ø Assist in conducting fire safety drills and ensure residents are familiar with fire-fighting equipment, exits, and assembly points.
- Ø Ensure all systems and facilities meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Ø Keep accurate records of assets, maintenance reports, and facility inspection records.
- Ø Maintain and safeguard maintenance tools, equipment, and store in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Ø Monitor and assist in managing maintenance
- Ø Work with third-party service providers for facility servicing and repairs.
- Ø Report issues promptly to the Dormitory Manager and provide technical reports or proposals for rectifications.
- Ø Perform any other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Academic Qualification : Min. Secondary School / SPM
Skills
Minimum SPM or Technical Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, or equivalent.Certified Chargeman is an advantageKnowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and painting works.Experience in maintaining building facilities.Know-how of compliance under DOSH and JKKP for building upkeep and facilities.Able to write and converse in Bahasa Malaysia.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work independently as well as in a team.Possesses own transport.Physically fit to perform maintenance and repair tasks.Experience
At least 2-3 years of working experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance.Experience in handling electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Exposure to residential and commercial building management facilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
