To make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million people use Speechify’s TTS products to turn reading material into audio, enabling faster reading and improved retention. Products include iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome Extension, and Web App.

Today, Speechify operates with a 100% distributed team of nearly 200 people, spanning frontend / backend engineers and AI researchers, many from major tech companies and academia.

Overview

As Speechify expands, our AI team seeks a Senior Backend Engineer. This role ensures scalable infrastructure, optimizes key product flows, and builds resilient end-to-end systems. If you enjoy strategic thinking, fast-paced environments, and owning product decisions, we’d love to hear from you.
