About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Lecturer in Information Technology to join our dynamic School of Computing & Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of innovative teaching, research, and industry engagement activities within the IT discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Develop and review curriculum content in line with current industry trends and accreditation standards.
Supervise student projects, dissertations, and research activities.
Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputable journals.
Participate in academic administration, student mentoring, and departmental initiatives.
Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to consultancy or community projects.

Requirements

A PhD or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

At least 5 years of teaching and / or relevant industry experience.

Strong background in one or more of the following areas :

Artificial Intelligence / Data Analytics

Cybersecurity / Networking

Cloud Computing / Software Development

Information Systems / Database Management

Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum design, and research.

Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
