We\'re looking for

an Accountant (Offshore Leader)

on behalf of a Sydney-based client that provides professional business services, helping clients achieve growth through financial expertise and strategic advisory. This role involves working with larger clients, complex business structures, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services while also supporting junior team members. Salary Salary range :

RM 8,000 - RM 15,000 / month (based on skills & experience) The role requires on-site presence in the beginning of employment. Responsibilities

Client Focus : Prepare financial statements, tax returns, management accounts, activity statements, bookkeeping, payroll, payroll tax, FBT and other tasks as required and prepare all associated electronic work-papers for clients across various industries and structures. Client Focus : Work diligently to prepare information in a timely manner, with a high attention to detail, and striving to minimize rework and demonstrate learning from job to job. Client Focus : Actively apply concepts and knowledge learned in technical training to improve the client outcomes and undertake increasingly complex and challenging tasks. Client Focus : Provide professional, transparent and timely communication to the team to ensure efficient client service. Client Focus : Identify value add opportunities for the Firm to provide additional support to clients. Team Focus : Work collaboratively with onshore and offshore team members to ensure the high quality and timely delivery of work. Team Focus : Provide support and on-the-job training for team members as required. Team Focus : Assist new team members as a “buddy” to support their onboarding, team affiliation, progress and skills development. Firm Focus : Support the Firm’s financial management, including meeting individual budgets, timeframes, productivity and recoverability targets. Firm Focus : Completing accurate daily timesheets. Firm Focus : Ensuring Malaysia team members are doing the same. Firm Focus : Ensuring Malaysia team members observe strict cyber and other security protocols to ensure our data always remains protected. Firm Focus : Continuous development of own technical and professional skills through taking initiative to research technical matters, participating in training & development activities, seeking out opportunities to further knowledge, and pro-actively contributing to team meetings. Firm Focus : Ongoing contribution to the improvement of the firm’s operations, systems and procedures which may include suggesting changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, particularly in Malaysia. Requirements

Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. CA / CPA or equivalent overseas post-graduate program underway or completed Proven experience (preferably 4 years or more) in handling all accounting and tax work for Australian entities Understanding of

Australian accounting principles, practices and business environment Knowledge of relevant Australian regulations and accounting and tax compliance requirements Experience with Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Seniorit y level
