We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Engineer specializing in Radio Frequency (RF) chips. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting factory operations by training personnel, optimizing test processes, and driving yield improvement initiatives. This position requires deep technical expertise in RF semiconductor testing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Factory Personnel Training :
Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for factory personnel on RF chip testing methodologies, equipment, and best practices.
Create detailed documentation, including test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.Provide hands-on support to ensure factory teams are proficient in operating test equipment and interpreting test results.Yield Debugging and Improvement :Analyze test data to identify yield-limiting factors and root causes of failures in Broadcom RF chip production.
Collaborate with design, process, and test engineering teams to implement corrective actions and improve yield.Perform detailed failure analysis (FA) to isolate defects and recommend process or design changes.Cross-Functional Collaboration :Communicate yield trends, test results, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
Support new product introductions (NPI) by providing testability feedback and ensuring smooth ramp-up in production.Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, with a focus on RF chips (experience with RF chips is highly preferred).Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including signal integrity, noise, and impedance matching.Proficiency in using semiconductor test equipment (e.g., ATE, oscilloscopes, network analyzers).Experience with yield analysis tools and statistical data analysis (e.g., JMP, Excel, or similar).Knowledge of failure analysis techniques and tools (e.g., SEM, FIB, EDX).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor factory personnel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
