Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Thin‑Film Deposition

In this role, you will lead critical process optimization efforts, support new product introduction, and drive continuous improvement in deposition‑related manufacturing operations.

As a subject‑matter expert, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop robust, scalable deposition processes that meet performance, yield and cost targets. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong problem‑solving skills, data‑driven decision making, and deep technical knowledge of deposition systems and materials behaviour.

What You Will Do

• Develop, optimize, and sustain thin‑film deposition processes for high‑performance products.
• Analyze process data and metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Characterize thin films using metrology and materials analysis techniques (e.g., ellipsometry, XPS).
• Document and maintain detailed process recipes, control plans and operating procedures.
• Lead root‑cause investigations for yield, reliability or process stability issues.
• Stay current with advances in deposition technologies and recommend relevant upgrades or cost savings.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications)

Field of Study

Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Years of Experience (Minimum)

5 – 7 years.
