What\'s the role?

As a front-end developer, you assist the team in implementing front-end features – working with Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript, applying clean-code principles and supporting a testing culture – by diagnosing issues, finding workarounds and helping improve efficiency and performance to enhance the platform’s capabilities. You engage in product feature and design discussions to learn how to shape products and communicate your suggested solutions to technical leadership and other engineering teams.

What does the role involve?

Technical excellence

  • Support the design, development and deployment of front-end features using Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript – and explore API tools such as GraphQL and AWS services.
  • Apply security coding standards, Google Web Analytics and web accessibility guidelines.
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting and incremental improvements to enhance performance and reliability.

Collaboration and support

  • Work alongside technical leadership, product teams and engineers to learn how products are shaped and ensure your contributions align with organisational goals.
  • Contribute to end-to-end solutions by collaborating on technical tasks and asking questions to deepen your understanding.

    • Process participation

  • Participate in the software development lifecycle by following established practices for efficiency, maintainability and scalability.
  • Help identify opportunities for process improvements in high-traffic, dynamic environments.

    • Learning and growth

  • Partner with senior developers – seek mentorship and adopt best practices.
  • Take initiative to contribute ideas, observe technical strategy discussions and build your knowledge of engineering standards.

    • What you need is :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferably 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Angular using JavaScript, TypeScript and HTML / CSS.
  • Nice to have – API development, GraphQL, service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Eagerness to learn additional programming languages as needed.
