IT Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Service Delivery : Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services in accordance with established service levels and KPIs.
• Quotation Processes : Drive the quotation process by defining evaluation criteria, identifying and selecting suppliers, executing the evaluation process, and refining and validating sourcing and purchasing options.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Manage buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the procurement process.
• Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and present reports to management, analyzing metrics and projection results to inform decision-making.
• Time Management : Demonstrate urgency and deliver tasks on time, even under tight deadlines.
• Process Optimization : Apply and optimize procurement processes, automating where feasible, to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Analyzing data, designing systems, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing technology performance.
• Technical Skills : Programming languages (like Python, Java, JavaScript), software development, database management, networking, and cybersecurity.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Participate in interdisciplinary working groups and project work to gather insights, influence outcomes, and enhance internal processes and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement : Recommend process improvements and develop tools aimed at fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement function.
