Senior Executive – Business Development (China Car Accounts)

Pong Codan Rubber (M) Sdn Bhd specializes in the manufacture of Solid and Sponge Rubber Profile, Shaped Hose and Moulded products for Automotive O.E.M and other Industries. The Company is the pioneer automotive rubber products producer in Malaysia which had obtained its manufacturing license from MIDA on the 18th January 1989. Our two foreign shareholder Pongpara Codan Rubber Co., Ltd. of Thailand and Codan Gummi A / S of Denmark, which have more than 90-years of experience, provide the expertise and technical assistance. In addition to this, the Company has also to Technical tie-up which allowed it to have a vast bank of Weather-strip, Rubber Moulding and other Technology from Toyoda Gosei of Japan. The benefits from both European and Japanese Technologies enable us to have the largest and widest range of Rubber Products in Malaysia. Stringent Quality Control and on-going product research are conducted at Company’s Technical Services Laboratories.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to handle our China car brands accounts. The ideal candidate is in their 30s, highly motivated, aggressive in approach, and able to work at a fast pace in line with the responsiveness and efficiency expected when dealing with Chinese stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English , with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new and existing accounts, focusing on Chinese automotive brands.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese customers & supplier, providing responsive and solution-oriented support.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics, etc.)
  • Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Participate in business trips, exhibitions, and customer visits as needed

Qualifications

  • Diploma and above in Business, International Trade, Science knowledge or a related field are welcome to apply
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, account management, or international sales.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) and English .
  • Energetic, fast-paced, and highly responsive personality.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willing & available to travel to China or ASEAN when called upon
  • Knowledge of the automotive or manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.
  • We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.
