Join Decathlon MYTown as a Sports Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and promote sports passion in a dynamic retail environment.

Your role

Key responsibilities include :

  • Welcoming customers professionally and ensuring their satisfaction through effective solutions for returns, complaints, and checkout.
  • Understanding technical features and benefits of Decathlon products to recommend appropriate items.
  • Developing customer relationships both in-store and online, encouraging loyalty card subscriptions.
  • Promoting sports passion and helping customers discover new sports.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve departmental ambitions and boost sales using commercial tools.
  • Maintaining store layout and stock accuracy according to implantation principles and guidelines.
  • Enforcing safety and security standards, including fire safety and evacuation procedures.
  • Participating in training and developing skills to become a trainer.

About you

The company is looking for :

  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
  • Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
  • Entry-level candidates with less than 2 years of experience, including fresh graduates.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong sense of service.
  • Responsible, self-motivated, adaptable to a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • Human-first approach with high communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team during busy periods such as weekends and holidays.
  • Digitally savvy.
