Morgan Philips has been retained by an ASEAN PE‑backed Investment Bank in hiring their first headcount (Regional HR Manager) in Malaysia. The selected candidate will be tasked with developing and setting up the HR team.

What you will be doing :

• Manage HR operations and systems, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and data accuracy across all offices.
• Handle all payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide strategic HR solutions aligned with overall business objectives.
• Lead regional and country‑level recruitment efforts, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Manage expatriate and local employment matters, including mobility, relocation, and work pass administration.
• Promote a positive workplace culture that supports diversity, inclusion, and professional growth.
• Act as the key liaison with external HR service providers, regulators, and government agencies across all jurisdictions.
