About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Operations Specialist (Applications Engineer) with deep specialization in Container Platform Automation to join a foundational team for a major new project. This unique opportunity places you on the ground floor to build and shape the operational success of a brand‑new system.

What You Will Do

• Perform administrative‑level tasks and manage the full lifecycle of on‑premise Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and robust security.
• Write and modify complex Ansible scripts from scratch to automate configuration, deployment, and operational tasks across the environment.
• Proactively monitor service performance using tools like Dynatrace and conduct in‑depth troubleshooting of complex incidents, collaborating with technical teams on root cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage day‑to‑day service operations, coordinating with teams and vendors to ensure strict adherence to customer SLAs.
• Work extensively with core technologies, including IBM MQ and Forgerock, which are crucial for daily operations.
• Deploy system changes, develop operational procedures, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Work within a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and VMware environment, performing necessary system administration tasks.
