Quality Control Inspector

Trovon Group, a leader in rollingstock maintenance and engineering services, is expanding its operations in Southeast Asia. We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team in Port Klang, Selangor to deliver high-profile rail and rolling stock programs. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities on rollingstock mechanical and electrical systems during maintenance, repair, and overhaul works. This role ensures that all components and systems meet safety, operational, and regulatory requirements and conform to engineering drawings and specifications. The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in maintaining workmanship quality on the workshop floor and ensures compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform quality inspections and in-process checks on mechanical and electrical components of rollingstock systems, ensuring all inspections comply with ISO9001, and safety regulations.
• Verify compliance with engineering specifications, drawings, and job orders.
• Complete quality documentation such as inspection reports, test data sheets, and sign-off sheets.
• Ensure non-conformances are identified, documented, and reported promptly for corrective action.
• Perform incoming inspections for parts, consumables, and overhaul kits before release to the floor.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure quality checkpoints are effectively implemented.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and Final Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.
• Assist in root cause investigations and quality audits as required.
