Angular Front-End Lead Engineer (Cross-Border Remittance Solutions)

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Lead Engineer to join our team and lead the development of innovative, scalable, and user-centric front-end applications for our cross-border remittance solutions. This role requires expertise in Angular, C#, and a deep understanding of the financial technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, and optimizing applications that handle secure, high-volume transactions while delivering a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development :

Lead the development of modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular.

  • Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate with APIs built on C#.
  • Ensure applications meet high standards of performance, scalability, and security to support real-time, high-volume cross-border transactions.
  • Technical Leadership :

    • Guide and mentor a team of front-end developers, promoting best practices in coding, design, and testing.

  • Drive the adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance team productivity and product quality.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX / UI designers, and QA engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure smooth integration between the front-end and back-end systems, maintaining end-to-end system reliability.
  • Code Quality and Testing :

    • Implement and enforce coding standards and conduct regular code reviews.

  • Write unit tests and support end-to-end testing to ensure the reliability of front-end applications.
  • Innovation and Optimization :

    • Stay updated with the latest trends in front-end development and remittance technology.

  • Optimize applications for performance, ensuring minimal latency and maximum usability, even in low-bandwidth environments.
  • Compliance and Security :

    • Ensure front-end solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, including AML / CFT guidelines.

  • Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

    • Qualifications and Requirements

  • Technical Expertise :

    • 5+ years of experience in front-end development with Angular (including TypeScript and RxJS).

  • Proficiency in C# for building and integrating with APIs.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Domain Knowledge :

    • Experience in developing solutions for cross-border remittance , payments, or financial services.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the fintech industry, such as AML / CFT standards.
  • Leadership Skills :

    • Proven experience leading front-end development teams, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
  • Problem Solving and Optimization :

    • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly in optimizing high-performance applications.

  • Experience with modern build tools and libraries such as Webpack, Babel, and Angular CLI.
  • Other Skills :

    • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices for handling sensitive financial data.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Experience with mobile-friendly web design and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
