Accounts Payable Analyst – Huntsman Corporation

Huntsman Corporation is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Global Business Services team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role supports business entities across the Asia‑Pacific region, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Review payment proposals to ensure timely and accurate outgoing payments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payment errors collaboratively with Vendor Master Data team, Purchasing department, or invoice processors.
• Manage out‑of‑cycle payments to keep business operations running.
• Prepare, understand, and review monthly account reconciliations.
• Oversee assigned legal entities, including vendor open items (VOI) and Goods Receipt No Invoice (GRNI).
• Follow up to ensure timely closing of outstanding items.
• Provide extended support for suppliers and internal stakeholders on issues and escalations.
• Participate in business‑driven recurring meetings.
• Proactively engage stakeholders to initiate process improvements.
• Work with invoice processors and helpdesk agents to identify gaps, propose preventive solutions, or remove barriers.
• Partner to keep documentation updated and accurate.
• Act as a key AP team member for the Business Process Owner & Project Lead, offering expertise to drive success.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external SOX and audit controls.
