About Our Client

The company is a well-established, large organisation in the industrial / manufacturing sector. It is known for its commitment to operational excellence and financial integrity.

Job Description

Manage month-end closing process ensuring compliance with local GAAP and corporate policies.

Prepare timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, year-end deliverable, and ad-hoc requests.

Handle journal entries, account reconciliations, payroll postings, and reserve account management.

Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.

Conduct financial data analysis to improve business performance and cost efficiency.

Oversee fixed asset management, daily sales reporting, treasury functions, and cash forecasting.

Support internal controls by documenting processes, evaluating risks, and implementing improvements.

Assist with tax submissions, statutory reporting, inventory management, audit preparation, and other assigned tasks.

The Successful Applicant

Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or CPA qualification with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in an audit firm.

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records, and to detect potential errors or fraud.

Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel; practical experience with HFM (or OneStream) is a plus.

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, with expertise in tax and audit processes.

Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, willing to work extended hours when necessary without compromising quality.

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Financial month-end processes following the United States calendar.
