About Our Client

This is an opportunity to work with a large organization in the business services industry that offers a collaborative environment and exposure to international tax practices. The company is based in Selangor and is committed to delivering exceptional solutions to its clients.

Job Description

  • Prepare and process tax forms, including service tax calculations, filings, and remittances, VAT / GST calculations, and related submissions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of a tax compliance calendar to ensure timely reporting of all indirect tax returns.
  • Review documentation and prepare filings for withholding tax and other local tax requirements.
  • Record journal entries for GAAP-to-statutory and GAAP-to-tax differences in the appropriate ledgers.
  • Calculate roll-forwards of deferred income taxes and accrued income taxes payable.
  • Reconcile and ensure general ledger accounts are aligned with tax schedules.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Manage filing and archiving of original tax documents.
  • Assist with franchise business licensing filings and other tax-related requirements as needed

    • The Successful Applicant

    A Successful Tax Analyst Should Have

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tax
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in tax reporting and documentation processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in handling international tax matters is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in tax software and tools is preferred.
