Mandarin Language Specialist

Overview We are hiring Junior to Lead Mandarin Translator for the Google Gemini project.

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable candidate in Mandarin to join our ML / AI Programs team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Mandarin, with expertise in correcting and rewriting sentences. The primary responsibility will be to contribute to our language-related tasks, ensuring accurate and high-quality content.

Responsibilities

Create prompts to test the boundaries of the LLM model to find vulnerabilities in the responses or the model’s ability to handle the prompt.

Review and correct sentences in Mandarin for ML / AI programs, ensuring grammatical accuracy and clarity.

Rewrite sentences to improve coherence, fluency, and natural language flow.

Collaborate with the ML / AI team to understand project requirements and deliver tasks accordingly.

Conduct thorough research to ensure accurate translation and interpretation of concepts.

Work closely with the team to maintain consistency and quality standards across all language-related tasks.

Provide linguistic insights and expertise to enhance the overall language performance of the programs.

Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Work on rotational 24 / 7 shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mandarin or any related field.

Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, with an excellent understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.

Expertise in correcting and rewriting sentences in Mandarin.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in language-related tasks.

Familiarity with ML / AI concepts and terminology is a plus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Excellent research skills to ensure accurate interpretation and translation.

Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Willing to work on shift basis.
