Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all matters related to the Purchasing Department, including procurement and vendor management.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and offerings.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and track purchase orders, deliveries and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Mandarin speaking. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical background.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.
  • Experience in purchasing raw materials for manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software or systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
