Daily Outlet Operations : Responsible to overseeingday-to-day operations of the F&B outlet, including ensuring equipment (eg : coffee machine, grinder, POS system) is in good working order, as well as opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
Customer Experience & Service : Ensure all customers receive prompt, friendly and good quality service. Handle customers concerns and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Team Leadership & Training : Lead, motivate and train team members, including barista, cashier and service staff on procedures, product knowledge and service standards.
Inventory & Stock Control : Monitor inventory of coffee beans, pastries, ingredients and packaging materials, place orders and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely stock replenishment. Minimize wastage and track daily consumption for efficient cost control.
Food Safety & Cleanliness : Train staff on hygiene best practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Conduct routine checks of kitchen, prep, and service areas to maintain cleanliness.
Sales Support & Promotions : Support the implementation of promotions, seasonal offerings, and loyalty programs. Monitor daily sales performance and suggest improvements where necessary.
Administrative Tasks : Prepare staff schedules, manage attendance, and ensure adequate staffing levels. Maintain daily sales records, cash handling, basic reporting and participate in meetings with management to provide feedback and operational insights.
Job Requirements :
SPM or Diploma in F&B, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of working experience in F&B or related field
Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Bahasa Malaysia
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift duty
Based in Melaka, own transport and willing to travel
