Production Engineer

Drive and control production plus support NPI in order to meet quality target & delivery requirement.

Plan schedule based on demand (order / forecast), material availability and capacity.

Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to meet customer delivery requirements.

Generate report and analyze production performance (Productivity, Labour Utilization, ) and identify bottlenecks.

Optimize the utilization of resources (man, machine, materials and space) to achieve cost, quality and delivery.

Study and derive process -scale up / down, back-up process and process tolerance for active products processes.

Establish good controls (inventory, storage, safety and disposal) of raw material (WIP), stock solution and finished goods.

Communicate and works with all related department any issues that might affect production.

Assist NPI process for new products, from initial concept to design, prototyping testing and full-scale production.

Analyze, troubleshoot process and quality issue (internal & customer) with effective corrective and preventive actions.

Work with cross function department (Marketing, Customer Service, etc) to coordinate the production project.

Periodically review the process for optimization and continuous improvement.

Maintain good documentation and facilitate audit process - ISO9001, TS16949, ISO14001 and Customer audit.

Develop and maintain lean and good 5S system and controls.

Motivate and train line-leader and operators. Ensure subordinates are following the SOP in operating their duties.

Maintain a disciplined workforce through attendance monitoring and adherence to company rules and regulations.

Reviews employee performance and recommends disciplinary action as necessary.

Involve and contribute to company and job functions – 5S, or other tasks assigned by Superior.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or relevant fields of engineering.

At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial process related field with strong track record of driving process improvement, value added in mechanical and process design, ERP system and chemical industrial knowledge.

Familiarization with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, Control Plan and SPC will be added value.
