Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our business application consulting team helps clients optimise operational efficiency through analysis, software implementation, training, and support for business applications. As a Guidewire developer, you will develop and customise applications on the Guidewire platform, focusing on insurance industry needs such as policy administration, claims management, and billing.

Responsibilities

  • Support sprint planning and collaborate across teams and locations.
  • Analyze client requirements and review estimates.
  • Design, develop, review, and test software solutions.
  • Support testing and handle client queries.
  • Communicate effectively with onsite teams and participate in scrum calls.
  • Engage in CoE activities, trainings, and recruitment as needed.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of ETL tools (SSIS / SQL, MSSQL, DB2, Data Stage, Informatica).
  • Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos).
  • Understanding of cloud concepts (Azure, Snowflake, Matillion).
  • Design and performance tuning in data warehouses (SQL Server / Oracle).
  • Experience with Guidewire products (Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center) is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills, data management, and data integrity experience.
  • Good communication, analytical skills, and Agile methodology experience.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is advantageous.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant ETL development experience.
