Job Description

Lead and manage our Research Operations function, ensuring researchers and designers at SEEK work more efficiently, effectively and with greater impact. Drive initiatives around systems, tooling and culture that make research scalable and accessible across the organisation. You'll lead a team, mentor Research Operations Specialists and partner with leaders across Research, Design and Product to embed research excellence into SEEK's product development practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership : identify, scope, prioritise and advocate for research operations excellence initiatives;
  • Delivery management : lead initiatives with your team ensuring on-time, quality delivery whilst removing blockers and providing guidance;
  • Cross-functional partnership : deliver leadership-level initiatives partnering with peers to solve problems and achieve outcomes;
  • Change management : drive adoption through strong leadership, empathy and clear communication;
  • Tooling oversight : ensure all tooling is efficient, safe and secure whilst ethically protecting user data;
  • Team development : grow and develop operational specialists through supportive environment, mentoring and coaching;
  • Budget management : support research budget management, planning ahead and measuring monthly progress; and
  • Performance measurement : measure and report on research health including project types, market coverage and insight success.

Qualifications

Essential requirements

  • Proven leadership experience and people management in operational or research role;
  • demonstrated experience improving ways of working and culture;
  • strong capability managing priorities and driving peer alignment;
  • strong capability working through complexity, ambiguity and trade-offs; and
  • strong English proficiency and communication skills.
  • Desirable

  • User experience and research experience (advantageous but not essential); and
  • demonstrated experience working at scale across multiple regions.
