Practical Trainee, Corporate Strategy

Overview

The intern will support the Intelligence Command Centre and Business Insights team in performing research, data management, and reporting tasks. This role is designed to provide exposure to data-driven decision-making processes, analytics tools, and organizational intelligence practices. The intern will assist with minor tasks, while gaining hands-on experience in analytics and intelligence operations. Responsibilities

Support the Intelligence Command Centre Gather and document user requirements Prepare simple reports and dashboards for stakeholders Provide administrative support for ongoing intelligence use cases Support the Business Insights function Conduct basic desk research and data collection from internal and external sources Compile datasets and validate simple findings Prepare presentations or summaries of insights Maintain databases with data entry, updates, and checks Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems Document simple processes or guidelines Test dashboards and reports for usability; provide feedback to improve user experience and functionality Support quality checks to ensure accuracy of displayed data Provide administrative support for meetings, workshops, or events Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by the team Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma / Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, IT, Statistics, or related field Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and an interest in data / analytics Strong attention to detail, eager to learn, and adaptable to new tasks Good communication and organizational skills Learning Outcomes
