1. Food & Beverage Preparation

Prepare and serve drinks (coffee, tea, sparkling, chocolate) according to café recipes and quality standards.
Pre-heat the pastries.
Ensure food is handled safely, maintaining hygiene and freshness.

2. Customer Service

Greet and serve homestay guests and walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Take orders accurately and handle any special requests or dietary needs.

Provide recommendations about café menu items and promotions.

Handle guest feedback politely and resolve minor complaints.

3. Cashiering & Payment Handling

Operate POS system for orders and payments.

Manage card and e-wallet transactions accurately.

Maintain records for café sales and daily cash balancing.

4. Café Operations & Cleanliness

Keep café area (tables, counters, equipment) clean and tidy always.

Wash utensils, dishes and equipment after use.

Follow daily opening and closing checklists.

Maintain stock and replenish supplies when needed.

5. Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor inventory levels for ingredients, beverages and packaging.

Inform management of low stock and assist in stock ordering.

Check expiry dates and ensure first-in-first-out usage.

6. Coordination with Homestay Operations

Coordinate with front desk or homestay manager for guest orders charged to rooms.

Support in café-related promotions for homestay guests .

7. Compliance & Safety

Follow all food safety, hygiene and health regulations.

Handle equipment safely and report any maintenance issues.

Adhere to company SOPs for café and homestay guest service.
