Assistant Production Manager

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Production Manager in planning and organizing production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize downtime.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate stock records and timely replenishment.

Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the production process to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.

Supervise and motivate production team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize productivity and morale.

Identify and resolve production-related problems, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure smooth coordination and communication throughout the supply chain.

Maintain accurate production records and reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to production schedules at our Ketereh facility.

Develop and implement production plans, considering factors such as material availability, equipment capacity, and workforce allocation, to meet production targets.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods, optimizing stock levels to minimize waste and ensure timely availability for production.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production process, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deviations from quality standards.

Lead and supervise production teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.

Identify and resolve production-related issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall production efficiency.

Communicate effectively with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and sales, to coordinate activities and ensure smooth production operations.

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication and collaboration with local teams and stakeholders.
