Your Role

The Healthcare Assistant (T&CM) plays a key role in supporting Traditional & Complementary Medicine (TCM) practitioners and ensuring smooth communication between practitioners and patients. This role involves assisting in treatment procedures, facilitating translation during consultations, managing basic administrative tasks, and enhancing patient experience within the centre.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care And Assistance

o   Assist foreign TCM practitioners by translating during patient consultations.

o   Guide patients through treatment processes and provide clear instructions.

o   Answer basic inquiries related to TCM services and procedures.

Treatment Assistance

o    Prepare herbal prescriptions as instructed by practitioners.

o    Support in setting up therapy equipment and ensuring treatment rooms are ready.

o    Monitor and ensure patients' comfort during and after treatments.

Administrative And Record Management

o   Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

o   Assist with appointment scheduling, billing support, and other front-desk duties when required.

o   Ensure smooth coordination between patients, practitioners, and administrative staff.

Communication And Coordination

o    Act as a liaison between foreign practitioners and local patients.

o    Facilitate effective communication to ensure high-quality patient care.

o    Support internal communication within the healthcare team for seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Education

o      Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, TCM, or Language Studies or a related field.

  • Experience :
  • o      Experience in healthcare assistance, translation, or customer service preferred.

  • Skills :
  • o      Basic understanding of TCM therapies and patient care.

    o      Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
