1. Role Summary
The ICT Business Development Manager will drive the growth of the ICT division by identifying new opportunities, expanding sales pipelines, managing key client accounts, and forging strategic partnerships. The role demands a strong understanding of ICT hardware, peripherals, and service-based solutions. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, results-driven sales professional with strong communication skills and a proven track record in business development and relationship management.
2. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Expansion
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both government and private sectors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for ICT hardware, peripherals, and service / maintenance contracts.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and cold-calling.
- Prepare and present customized business proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
Account & Relationship Management
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.Understand client needs and recommend tailored ICT solutions.Ensure client satisfaction through ongoing engagement and after-sales support.Partnership & Channel Development
Identify, evaluate, and engage with potential vendors, OEMs, and reseller partners.Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations.Coordinate with technical and operations teams to deliver joint or bundled ICT offerings.Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on ICT trends, products (e.g., laptops, desktops, servers, networking tools), and emerging technologies.Provide regular market feedback to management regarding competitor strategies and customer behavior.Support marketing and product teams in campaigns and new product launches.Tender & Proposal Coordination
Participate in the preparation of government and private sector tender proposals.Liaise with internal tender teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.3. Key Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business , Information & Communications Technology , Marketing , or a related discipline.Experience
5–7 years of proven experience in :ICT product sales (e.g., laptops, desktops, peripherals, networking devices)
Business development and key account managementHandling service contracts and ICT solution offeringsManaging strategic partnerships and reseller channelsSkills
