Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transactional legal work, including drafting and reviewing complex contracts and agreements.
  • Provide legal support and guidance on M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee project management to ensure timely and successful completion of legal transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external counsel to advise on legal strategies and compliance.
  • Offer insight and guidance on Fintech and TMT regulatory issues, particularly in relation to emerging technologies and digital assets.

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Law with a valid Malaysian Bar Practising Certificate and a minimum of with min. 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate / transactional law.
  • Well-versed in handling M&A, commercial contracts, and corporate advisory matters.
  • Familiarity with Personal Data Protection, Fintech, Intellectual Property (IP), and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) is an added advantage.
  • Proven records in managing files and clients independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
