Responsibilities
- Develop MEP project plans aligned with overall goals and timelines.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
- Oversee MEP design development and ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide expert guidance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ensure integration of MEP with CSA systems.
- Enforce quality assurance through audits and reviews.
- Manage design changes and assess project impacts.
- Prepare and control MEP budgets.
- Identify and mitigate MEP-related risks.
- Act as main contact for MEP coordination and communication.
- Monitor schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan and implement commissioning for all MEP systems.
- Oversee commissioning execution and verify system functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues.
- Prepare detailed commissioning and handover documentation.
- Train client teams on MEP system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth final handover of fully operational MEP systems.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience10 years in MEP industry, with experience managing large scale data center projectsStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design principles, construction methods, and materialsAbility to identify issues proactively and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment. Certifications : Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Chartered Engineer status are advantageousAdditional Information
