PROJECT DIRECTOR

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership : Provide strategic, technical, operational, and financial leadership for projects to ensure they meet the organization's goals.
• Project oversight : Supervise multiple projects from planning and development through execution and completion.
• Team and resource management : Lead and mentor project managers and teams, allocate resources, and ensure project activities are coordinated across departments.
• Budget and finance management : Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects remain financially viable.
• Risk and issue management : Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks, conflicts, and other issues that could derail project progress.
• Stakeholder communication : Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, investors, and senior management, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and presenting project proposals and results.
• Performance and quality : Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring the quality of deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Contract and vendor management : Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and external agencies.
