Key Responsibilities

  • Website Development :

Design and develop responsive, user-friendly e-commerce websites on Shopify, ensuring optimal functionality across all devices.

  • Theme Customization :

    • Customize existing Shopify themes and create new themes from scratch to align with brand guidelines and improve user experience.

  • Integration :

    • Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance website functionality, including payment gateways and inventory management systems.

  • Performance Optimization :

    • Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and SEO to improve overall performance and conversion rates.

  • Quality Assurance :

    • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to ensure smooth operation and resolve any technical issues promptly.

  • Collaboration :

    • Work closely with conversion specialists and UI / UX designers to implement their vision and maintain a cohesive look and feel across the site.

  • Maintenance :

    • Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on existing Shopify sites to incorporate new features and improvements.

  • Trend Monitoring :

    • Stay updated with the latest trends in e-commerce and Shopify developments to ensure our websites remain competitive.

    Requirements

  • Proficiency in Shopify's Liquid programming language.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with UX / UI design principles and conversion rate optimization strategies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Relevant past experience is preferred, with a focus on demonstrated competence rather than the number of years in the role
