Position 1 : Senior Engineer – Civil & Structural (C&S)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, C&S to support Cypark's renewable energy projects, including solar farms, waste-to-energy plants, substations, and related infrastructure. The role involves advanced design, analysis, and project support to ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design & Engineering
  • Prepare and review detailed civil & structural designs, drawings, and calculations
  • Perform structural analysis, foundation design, and infrastructure works.

Validate consultants' or contractors' design submissions for compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.

Project Support & Coordination

Provide technical expertise during project development, tendering, and construction stages.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

    • Conduct site visits to verify design implementation, commissioning, and resolve design-related issues.

    Standards, Compliance & Documentation

    Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements, local authority approvals, and international standards (MS, BS, Eurocode, etc.).

  • Prepare design reports, specifications, and documentation for regulatory submissions.

    • Support quality assurance processes and maintain documentation for audit.

    Innovation & Continuous Improvement

    Research and implement innovative engineering practices, technologies, and materials.

  • Contribute to optimizing renewable energy designs for enhanced performance and cost efficiency.

    • Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) status with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in civil / structural design, preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in GCPV (Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Systems) projects is an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

    • Position 2 : Senior Engineer – Electrical

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Electrical to support Cypark's renewable energy projects, including solar farms, waste-to-energy plants, substations, and related infrastructure. The role involves delivering advanced electrical designs, technical analysis, and project support to ensure compliance with engineering standards, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Design & Engineering

    Prepare and review detailed electrical designs, drawings, and calculations.

  • Develop HV / LV system designs, single line diagrams (SLD), protection studies, and electrical specifications.

    • Validate consultants' or contractors' design submissions for compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.

    Project Support & Coordination

    Provide technical expertise during project development, tendering, and construction stages.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

    • Conduct site visits to verify design implementation, commissioning, and resolve design-related issues.
