Overview :

The Language Interpreter is responsible for handling telephone or video calls on demand and y ou will interpret on-demand calls from diverse sectors such as medical, insurance, legal, and utilities fields (Training provided). Hence, fluency in English and Mandarin / Cantonese is crucial for you to bridge language gaps seamlessly for various English and Mandarin / Cantonese Speakers.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Renders correct concepts and meanings between Mandarin / Cantonese and English following complexity, clarity, tone, and style from one language into another.
  • Provide strict renditions of the messages for every detail of the conversation.
  • Follows instructions of clients, manages the flow of the call and avoid taking over the call, as well as avoids interaction with the limited English speaker person without the client's permission
  • Understands interpreting protocol and terminology in the various fields of the clients
  • Remains calm during calls in the event that one of the primary speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergency situations
  • Remains punctual and available during scheduled work hours
  • Ensures access to the Internet for work related electronic communication

    • Requirements :

  • Candidate posses with at least SPM and above
  • Candidate needs to be able to work in Midnight shift (US Market)
  • Native fluency in Mandarin / Cantonese + English  in terms of verbal, written & comprehension skills
  • Must have stable WIFI & own, quite Work Environment
  • Able start work immediately is preferable
  • No experience required ( Language ability is the main key point )
  • Must able to accept work as Full Time
