About The Role

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Audit Lead to join our Group Internal Audit team, focusing on Corporate & Banking Audit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the integrity and robustness of our internal control systems by executing and coordinating audit assignments across corporate and banking operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess control effectiveness, mitigate risks, and enhance governance standards in line with regulatory requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

Coordinate and execute audit assignments in line with the Credit Audit Plan, ensuring completion within the allocated timeframe and budget
Review and finalize audit reports for submission to the Management Audit Committee
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring compliance with Bank policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulatory (BNM) requirements
Follow up on concerns raised by external auditors and regulators, ensuring timely and comprehensive resolution by relevant stakeholders
Assess the effectiveness of corrective controls implemented to prevent recurrence of audit findings
Deliver value-added recommendations to address control gaps and strengthen operational efficiency, helping to minimize potential regulatory fines

What We're Looking For

Strong experience in auditing, preferably in a banking or financial services environment

In-depth understanding of credit processes, risk management, and regulatory compliance

Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps and recommend practical solutions

Strong writing and communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement

Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA) are an added advantage
