Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a cloud-native architecture that unifies SD-WAN with security functions like SWG, CASB, FWaaS, and ZTNA into one service using Palo Alto Prisma Access.

Responsibilities :

  • Operations of Palo Alto Prisma environment
  • Evaluate and configure firewall and proxy policy requests
  • Handle Requests, Incidents, Changes and Problems (ServiceNow)
  • Handling functions like IDS, Malware Detection and SSL-interception
  • Install, configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Configure and maintain Side to Side VPN connections into different internal environments
  • Communicate with different internal departments as well as external companies and vendors
  • Work closely with our global network / security counterparts in London, New York and Singapore
  • Maintain certificates within the SASE environment
  • Open and track vendor tickets
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Remote Access for the bank in close cooperation with workplace and the vendor
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for our customers
  • Coordinate video streaming events with workplace and our provider Palo Alto Networks
  • Contribute as an effective team player in an agile team
  • Rotational oncall support during Germany's off business hours

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional training / qualifications in networking / computer studies
  • 2 - 5 years' of professional experience in the areas of Network Security and Firewall
  • Understanding of Network Security principles and best practices
  • Network theory and services (TCP / IP, UDP / IP, 7 layers of OSI, DNS, DHCP)

    • Professional Skills (technical, methodology and business) :

  • SASE environments (preferred Palo Alto Prisma)
  • Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama Management
  • User-based-authentication in proxy-environments (Active Directory)
  • Remote Access
  • SSL-interception
  • Network Protocols
  • SD-WAN
  • Running and supporting high availability infrastructure
  • Cloud-technologies
  • Documentation of IT-infrastructures

    • Personal Skills :

  • High level of responsibility, team ability and initiative
  • Good communication skills and strong analytical skills, as well as the pleasure of solving complex questions and getting to know new topics
  • Willingness to participate in on call service
  • This role to be located in Bangsar, KL.
