Overview

This role is for a skilled photographer and videographer to provide comprehensive coverage for a multi-day event in Kuala Lumpur, Asia, from 11th to 13th November. The assignment includes capturing all training sessions, trade fair activities, conferences, and evening events across the three days. The ideal candidate will be adept at working in dynamic event environments, delivering both high-quality photography and videography, and ensuring timely delivery of select images and edited video content. The position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full photography and videography coverage for all scheduled sessions and events from 09 : 00 to 17 : 45 each day.
  • Capture key moments during training courses, trade fairs, conferences, and evening functions.
  • Deliver a curated selection of high-quality event photos on the same day for immediate use.
  • Record and edit video content, ensuring all major activities and highlights are documented.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to understand specific coverage requirements and priorities.
  • Manage and organize digital assets for efficient delivery and archiving.
  • Adhere to the event schedule and maintain a professional presence throughout.

Skills And Requirements

  • Proven experience in event photography and videography, preferably for corporate or large-scale events.
  • Proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording tools.
  • Strong skills in photo editing and video post-production (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
  • Ability to deliver select edited photos on the same day and provide a clear timeline for final video delivery.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multi-day coverage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with event staff and participants.
  • Based in or able to travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and available for the full event duration (11th–13th November).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
