Product Senior Engineer (Based in Ipoh)

Overview

Responsible for overall Coherent Roadm product transfer to volume production in Ipoh, from product testing till packout shipment. Drives efforts in product re-engineering, cost reduction, yield improvement, quality and reliability improvement. Plans and executes product qualifications, engineering builds, DOE activities and data collection. Monitors line processes, improves quality and updates process instructions and documentation. Supports and initiates ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, procedures and specification modifications. Provides engineering support and coordination of pilot builds to ensure new products are completed on time and with minimum resources. Identifies and quantifies quality problems with materials and / or processes and provides solutions. Drives technical project tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule. Performs other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
