Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex IT programs within the banking sector. The role requires strong leadership in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, driving digital transformation, overseeing regulatory compliance initiatives, and modernizing banking applications and infrastructure. The Senior IT PM will collaborate with senior stakeholders, regulators, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic business objectives and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead multiple large-scale IT projects / programs across applications, infrastructure, and digital banking initiatives.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements (BNM, MAS, Basel III, AML / KYC, PCI-DSS).
• Develop and manage detailed project / program plans, budgets, risk logs, and governance frameworks.
• Drive delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, ensuring milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.
• Oversee cross-functional project teams including business analysts, developers, testers, infrastructure engineers, and vendors.
• Manage senior stakeholders, regulators, and steering committees with effective communication, reporting, and expectation alignment.
• Provide strategic recommendations to business and technology leaders, ensuring technology initiatives support operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk management, issue resolution, and change management activities for critical programs.
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and deliverables to ensure value realization.
• Mentor junior and mid-level project managers, analysts, and coordinators to build project management maturity within the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management practices, tools, and governance frameworks.
