Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Requirements :

  • Minimum of years of experience in account management within the accounting or tax services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in using accounting software and CRM systems
  • High attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with internal control or audit procedures
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements is a mandatory
  • Job description :

  • Handle the full set of in-house accounts including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and management reports for internal review
  • Assist in monitoring company budgets, tracking expenditures, and identifying variances or areas for cost-saving. Monitor and analyse financial data, identifying trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities to company
  • Manage internal billing processes, issue invoices, process staff claims, and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Maintain proper records of company assets and coordinate regular inventory checks and asset audits
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, SST (Sales and Service Tax), and internal policies
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain and update accounting software, records, and financial databases as required
