Role Summary :

Responsible for maintaining the company's full set of accounts using accounting software, reviewing and posting all bookkeeping entries, preparing monthly financial reports, and supporting tax and audit compliance.

Work Location : Taman Teluk Pulai, Klang

Work Days : Monday to Friday

Work Hours : 9 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm

Start Date : Immediate

Transportation and Accommodation : Own

Key Responsibilities :

A. Financial Accounting (Full Set of Accounts)

  • Maintain General Ledger (GL) and chart of accounts using accounting software
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Track accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
  • Monitor fixed assets and monthly depreciation
  • Prepare monthly reports : Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
  • Provide basic financial analysis and commentary
  • Review all financial entries for accuracy before month-end closing
  • B. Bookkeeping & Daily Accounting

  • Review and issue sales invoices, delivery orders (DO), and quotations when required.
  • E-invoicing
  • Review and key in purchase bills, supplier invoices, and payment vouchers
  • Track staff claims and ensure proper documentation is filed
  • Record petty cash, reimbursements, and company expenses when required
  • Update and monitor daily cash flow and collection summary
  • File all accounting documents (soft and hard copy)
  • C. Payroll & Statutory Contributions (Assist)

  • Verify payroll summaries prepared by clerks
  • Ensure EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB are accurately recorded
  • Liaise with HR and Payroll Department for payroll and timesheet accuracy
  • D. Tax & Audit Support

  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents
  • Liaise directly with external auditors and tax agents
  • Ensure documents are ready for annual tax submissions
  • Maintain neat, audit-ready filing and digital bookkeeping system
  • Requirements :

  • Diploma in Accounting or related field
  • Experience in managing full sets of account
  • 2–3 years of experience in full set accounting
  • Experience with Bukku or similar preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, cash flow, tracking claims)
  • Able to work independently and communicate well with the team & directors
  • Familiar with Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, PCB)
  • Tools You'll Use :

    Bukku Accounting Software, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc)
