Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will set up and monitor jobs on the label die‑cutting machine. You will also acquire new skills to apply enhancements such as cold lamination and hot stamping. On‑the‑job training will be provided, but prior experience or knowledge of running this machine is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor label die‑cutting machine jobs.
• Apply enhancements (cold lamination, hot stamping) as needed.
• Reduce material wastage and monitor machine output to meet quality requirements.
• Correct defects immediately to minimize wastage.
• Review job orders carefully and ensure full understanding of requirements.
• Conduct daily cleaning, maintenance, and perform 6‑month / 1‑year preventive maintenance.
• Report machine issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Troubleshoot stoppages and identify root causes; coordinate with the supervisor for corrective action.
