[Senior] Software Engineer (Java)

We are looking for a skilled and independent Software Engineer with strong experience in developing, operating, and maintaining cloud-based distributed applications to join our team. You will help develop Alliance Cloud and drive its adoption as the default way for customers to interface with SWIFT Messaging.Translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Software Engineer : Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience. Senior Software Engineer : Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills – vocal and proactive in discussions. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to execute complex workstreams independently with minimal supervision. Strong knowledge of Java and experience in backend development using Java and its ecosystem. Familiarity with Linux OS (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Knowledge of DevOps / DevSecOps practices and CI / CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins). SWIFT Alliance products (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, Swiftnet Link) knowledge / experience. SWIFT messaging formats knowledge / experience. Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and running distributed systems.
