About the role

The role will be responsible for leading the sea & air freight team independently and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of cargoes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end freight operations – planning, scheduling, and monitoring shipments; promptly solving all freight issues.
  • Manage freight pricing – source competitive rates from airlines and propose quotations to local customers and overseas agents.
  • Coordinate shipments with liners, airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to move cargo.
  • Communicate and maintain strong customer relationships, providing timely updates and exceeding expectations.
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and optimize freight processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
  • Support sales and business development initiatives related to freight services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8‑10 years of experience in freight and nomination operations or a similar logistics role.
  • Thorough understanding of freight regulations, processes, pricing, routing and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a talent for developing and mentoring employees.
