Job Description

A Store Manager oversees the convenience store and food operations of a truck stop according to company policies and procedures to ensure maximum sales and profitability. He / She supervises personnel within the store.

Primary Responsibilities include performing all duties and responsibilities expected of any store associate and all other duties assigned or requested. This includes meeting or exceeding store guidelines, such as inventory, cash shortages, and budgeted hours.

The Store Manager will develop and maintain a time schedule to adequately cover staffing needs, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and store cleanliness while remaining within budget guidelines. Administrative duties will be performed in an accurate, complete, and timely manner, including all required reports.

The Manager will follow all corporate cash procedures, enforcing corporate cash policies in the store, and manage customer relations in an efficient and courteous manner to provide maximum customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for overall store maintenance, enforcing all company policies and procedures, adhering to local, state, and federal laws, and ensuring store safety.

Benefits and Compensation : Starting pay is $20.00 to $23.00 an hour for a Manager depending upon experience. Opportunities for advancement and additional compensation, such as annual bonuses and overtime pay, are available.
